Drunk Elephant’s (DE) ‘Lala Retro Whipped Cream’ is a rich, fragrance-free, soothing moisturiser for dry sensitive skins with a very pleasing lightweight whipped texture, which can be used all over the face including the delicate eye area. It contains several very good plant oils, with plant-based fatty acids, free radical fighting antioxidants, and other skin-replenishing ingredients. It comes in a hygienic, innovative pump style dispenser, which I like, making it easy to use. If used as an anti-ageing day cream, it doesn’t contain a high broad spectrum SPF, but of course, it could be used under an SPF product or as a night cream. DE products tend to be very expensive, particularly in the UK, but if your beauty budget can run to this, it’s certainly worth considering, because it’s an effective, soothing treat for dry to very dry sensitive skins. Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Isopropyl Isostearate, Pseudozyma Epicola/Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil/Glucose/Glycine Soja (Soybean) Meal/Malt Extract/Yeast Extract Ferment Filtrate, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Cetearyl Alcohol, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract, Plantain (Plantago Lanceolata) Extract, Adansonia Digitata Seed Oil, Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Seed Oil, Passiflora Edulis Seed Oil, Schinziophyton Rautanenii Kernel Oil, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Polyglyceryl-6 Ximenia Americana Seedate, Pentylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Tocopherol, Ceteareth-20, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol.

I am so happy to see Amazon is now carrying this product. I sent for this from Sephora as it was not stocked by Amazon at the time (which was costly to import). It is a wonderful moisturiser and has improved the texture and feel of my skin. My skin is sensitive, occasionally combination and at other times very dry (i.e. annoying). I have tried many moisturisers that claim to be for sensitive skin - but most of them have irritated my skin/dried my skin out/caused spots - but not this one. I use this as my night cream with a drop of Argan oil. This is rich, very moisturising and I only need to use a little bit (less than the size of a pea). It is expensive but a little goes a long way as in the past I have had to put double or triple the quantity on with other moisturisers. It soothes my skin, has stopped the flaking and evened out the skin tone so the price is worth it in my opinion. (I also use the C-Firma Day Serum and that has been great too.) I know everybody has different skin types but for my awkward skin it works. I would recommend trying it.

So so so moisturizing w/o feeling greasy on the face, so much love! + It's silicone-free so it doesn't clog my pores.

This is a great moisturiser for dry flaky skin prone to breakouts. It moisturises my skin without making it feel oily and it absorbs very quickly. I have also bought the glycolic night serum and they make a really nice combination.

Was bought my first one as a gift and I have to use this all the time now. I have very dry mature skin & this makes it glow. Dewy & smoothing. The best. Not cheap but a little goes a long way.

but my great niece swears by it

lovely moisturiser, like the way it is dispensed from the carton no waste

Really nice light and creamy moisturiser, which has a nice clean and gimmicky way of dispensing itself. It made a nice change from my usual cream, and I am enjoying using it.

This really does live up to its great reviews! It’s not an overnight cure so you need to be patient with it. I’ve been using this on my face once a day due to getting really bad ‘Maskne’ (acne from wearing face masks). I only use a small amount after using the CeraVe SA cleanser and so far so good! Not tried it elsewhere yet so I can’t comment on its use and effectiveness for KP.

I have very dry skin & struggle to find effective moisturiser. This is quite a thick cream texture but is very quickly absorbed & effects are immediate. It has a very faint scent so cant say unscented but it is pleasant. Happy so far
